INTRODUCTION

Company for Vaccines and Biological Production No.1 (VABIOTECH) was established by the Ministry of Health’s Decision No. 650/QD-BYT on March 2, 2000, as part of the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology. On May 25, 2007, VABIOTECH became an independent enterprise under the Ministry of Health according to Decision No. 1889/QD-BYT.

Subsequently, on June 30, 2010, VABIOTECH officially transitioned to a 100% state-owned One-member limited liability company under the Ministry of Health’s Decision No. 2330/QD-BYT.

VABIOTECH’s functions encompass research, production, and business related to vaccines, medical products, and therapeutic biological products for human use, along with providing healthcare services.
